As a lifelong Athens resident and University of Georgia graduate, I take great pride in helping individuals and families protect what matters most. My journey began working in my father’s State Farm agency, where I learned firsthand the importance of building strong relationships with customers.
Before opening my own agency in 2012, I spent time in home building and real estate development, focusing on sustainable practices. Now, I’m fortunate to lead a team dedicated to personalized service, community involvement, and making a real impact. Our agency proudly supports the Athens Farmers Market, Rotary Club, and the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce.

ROLE DESCRIPTIONAs a Registered Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member with Shane Dekle - State Farm Agent, you will successfully market the financial products that manage everyday risks. Your proficient knowledge of financial products reinforces your sales-minded and consultative approach to educating customers on their financial options. Your analytical precision makes you an invaluable resource to customers and a competitive addition to a successful agency. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide investment advice and sell securities to clients.
  • Conduct financial needs analysis and recommend investment products.
  • Manage client portfolios and provide ongoing support.
  • Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and client interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Series 6, 63, 65 or 7 license and other relevant certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of investment products and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism.
Compensation $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
